Frank Capitano and Shawne Murphy

Frank Capitano and Shawne Murphy
Unit 2

Frank Capitano and Shawne Murphy moved to Hazel Lanes in 1998 from Westmount. Upon retirement, as area manager for the Ministry of Community and Social Services, in 1993, Frank continued to do consulting work for the social service sector for several years. Shawne retired as a social worker from London Health Sciences Centre/Children's Hospital of Western Ontario in 2004. By that time, Frank had become adept at most of the housework, an arrangement that still works well, today! Since then, they have filled their time with family and friends, golf, and travel- Palm Springs being a particular favourite. They have three daughters, two grandchildren and were very happy to welcome a sweet great granddaughter in March 2020- she was just in time to greet a few family members before lockdown! Frank has served as President of Hazel Lanes Association. Shawne remains active on the Hazel Lanes Pool Committee.
