Paul Ferner and Nancy Glaves purchased unit 56 from George and Cathie Dietrich in early 2020. They have lived in this area since 2007 and really love this part of London. Nancy was a registered nurse specializing in geriatrics in the role as nurse clinician which meant she assessed clients in acute care, retirement homes, nursing homes and private homes for admission to Parkwood Hospital Geriatric Rehab. She spent her nursing career with Specialized Geriatric Services and took early retirement from nursing in 2007 . Prior to her retirement, she went back to Western University to do a Masters of Psychotherapy. After she graduated, she worked full time in nursing and part time in counselling . When she finished nursing, she opened a private practice for 3 years as a psychotherapist. She retired from her practice early in 2010 due to health issues with her mother who lives in Windsor.
Paul is recently retired as a family physician but did not work in private practice . He specialized in palliative care in the community and cared for residents in 3 nursing homes and was chief of staff for Strathroy Hospital for 6 years and also worked in emergency medicine. They have 5 children and 8 grandchildren, 4 of whom live in London, England. They have added a new addition to the family, a little shihpoo named Oakleigh.
